What's coming from BrownBag Data?

BrownBag Data is finalizing a true vertical pairing tournament program.  The program currently brackets up to 32 wrestlers in a 2 pool bracket or up to 16 wrestlers in a single bracket.  A Demo version is available now (see the bottom of this page).  Some of the significant features are described below.
Pre-Registrations


Similar to the registration features of the original Tournament Plus Wrestling Tournament Software, quick and simple wrestler registration.  Registration cards also print out for use as Weigh-In cards and for pairing use.

Quick and Easy Data Entry

Bracket wrestlers by entering pre-assigned Wrestler's Numbers
 - or by typing in name and team
- or by choosing names from a drop-down list
 - or by a single click on the Registration screen.

  • Wrestler's are assigned a randomly generated draw number on entry into the bracketing screen

  • Pool separation easily obtained to accommodate seeded wresters, teammates or regional opponents

  • Wrestlers can be easily added to or removed from the initial bracketing screen without affecting registration data

 

16-Person Double Elimination Brackets

  • True Top-Down Pairing

  • Identify wrestlers as they are eliminated

  • Quick bout slip and bracket sheet printing

  • Back force pairings to eliminate extra bye's 

  • Previous Bye's automatically move to top for next round pairing

  • Wrestlers never face the same opponent twice - even in the round robin round - results of matches in the elimination rounds are carried over to the round robin

Can also be used as round robin brackets for up to 8 wrestlers (everyone wrestles everyone else in their bracket with no "two loses and you are out").

Click on "Pool"
 and go from a bracket of 13 ....

and a 6 person Pool B
   
You can automatically pool a bracket of up to 32 wrestlers into two pools of up to 16 wrestlers each.  Returning to a single non-pooled bracket is just as easy.

Download a Demo now!  This is a fully functional version of Tournament Plus VP but is limited to 99 wrestlers and 12 brackets (the full version has no limits on the number of wrestlers or the number of brackets) and, unlike the full version, cannot be run on network.  This demo also has limited ability to save and load tournament files.

This is a large file (approximately 14 Mb).  To install Tournament Plus VP Demo, download the file to your computer and then double click on it.  Tournament Plus VP Demo will be installed in C:/Program Files/TourPlusVP.  The full User Guide and a sample tournament file will also be copied.
